A Saudi cleric to infidels: Convert to Islam or Pay Jizya or Embrace death

Of course, there is no compulsion in Islam!!!! When ever a non-Muslim (or an Ex-Muslim) tells the truth about Islam - like the ones being told by this Saudi cleric - he will be branded as communal or as an Islamophobe.

Saudi Arabia arrests a Christian on charges of proselytizing.

If Saudi law bans religious proselytizing by other faiths in its land, logic dictates that Saudi Govt. should not contribute, like it does by donations of millions of dollars for constructing mosques and dawa centers, to Islamic proselytizing in Non Muslim majority countries. But we don't see this. Muslims even say that Islam respects other religions while Saudi sheiks issue fatwas saying Islam abrogates all other religions and Non Muslims and Muslims can never be equal in Islam. What Muslims say to infidels never really stands the test of validity. Of course, this kind of Islamic propaganda on Islamic tolerance is part of its ambition to dominate the world by imposing sharia and even if it is false and deceptive propaganda, it is completely legitimate in Islam as doctrine of taqiyya says. Over all, one way  traffic is simply an Islamic trait:

Mussie Eyob was detained by the authorities at a mosque in Saudi’s second largest city, Jeddah, on 12 February. He had gone there to meet and talk with local Muslims after speaking about Christianity at the Eritrean Embassy for three days. Eyob was arrested for preaching to Muslims, an offence that carries the death penalty in Saudi Arabia. 

Eyob, who was initially assumed to have mental health problems, was examined by doctors, who confirmed that he is fit for trial and sentencing. He was then transferred to the notorious high-security Briman Prison. His family are very concerned for his welfare there. 

They visited Eyob on 20 March and found that he had lost weight, though he was in relatively good spirits. He said that he is ready to die for his faith in Christ. 

Eyob, who committed to follow Christ just over two years ago, felt compelled to share his faith with local Muslims, despite the danger. 

Saudi Arabia is a strictly Islamic country that follows an extreme and puritanical version of Islam, Wahhabism. The country claims that the Quran is its constitution and that all its laws and regulations are promulgated in line with sharia, which prescribes the death penalty for converts from Islam. Consequently most converts keep their faith secret.

Before or during or after the semi final match in the world cup between India and Pakistan, did any one notice rude behavior on part of Indian players or Indians in general that warrants Shahid Afridi's outbursts. The recent outbursts can not even be attributed to Pakistan's loss; only Islamic mindset of Pakistanis explains; yet again, this also explains how pervasive Islamic views - stated in Islamic doctrines regarding Non Muslims - among ordinary Muslims, and Muslim public, which is often referred to as representative of moderate Islam which does not exist. In an interview, Shahid Afridi said (here):

Days after winning the hearts of numerous Indian fans with his remarks after his team's loss in the World Cup semifinal, Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi has said Indians are not as large-hearted as Pakistanis.

Afridi also slammed the Indian media for its "very negative approach" and said the Pakistani media was a "hundred times better" than its Indian counterpart. 

"In my opinion, if I have to tell the truth, they (Indians) will never have hearts like Muslims and Pakistanis. I don't think they have the large and clean hearts that Allah has given us," Afridi said during a talk show on Samaa news channel when he was asked about relations between the two countries.........

Lets see what Allah said regarding hearts of Non Muslims in Koran, or in general:

Verses 3:110 and 2:143:  Muslims are the best of all people and also are the chosen ones.....
Verse: 98:06: Non Muslims are the vilest of creatures.
Verses 8:22 and 8:55 : Non Muslims are the worst of Allah's creation and they deaf and blind too.
Verse 7:179: Non Muslims have hearts they understand not, eyes they can not see with and ears they can not hear with.....
Verse 6:43 : Hearts of Non Muslims are hardened by satan.
Verse 2:007 : Allah set a seal on hearts, eyes and ears of Non Muslims....

Oh, yes: Islam simply assumes itself as sole truth and then it views its relations with others as struggle between good and evil, light and darkness, order and chaos, truth and falsehood, God and devil.

Shahid Afridi also casts doubt on who is behind Mumbai shootings; on this Indians can thank liberal, secular- media and politicians like Digvijay Singh. For him, Pakistan is one ignorant, innocent and a victim too at the hands of a super power, USA. At the last count, Pakistan got more than 10 Billion Dollars from USA in return for its co-operation for war on terror but the kind of co-operation Pak. gave is too visible to be missed for all people except Pakistanis like Shahid Afridi.

Times of India reports Shahid Afridi saying that he was quoted out of context and misunderstood. It is quite awful how people after keeping their foot in mouth tend to fall back on this 'out of context' apology. May be we ought search for if there is hidden message of peace in original diaribe of Afridi.

Another thing I observed is that TOI has not allowed comments on its report of Afridi's outbursts but it allowed comments on its report of Afridi's explanation of his 'misunderstood' quotes.
