More outrageous is complete absence of any condemnation from so called Muslim moderate leadership and so called Muslim 'moderates'. On the contrary, imagine the uproar, condemnation, outrage and violence that follows even rumors of Non-Muslims dis-respecting Koran or Islam's Prophet. Always the wrong priorities.
The report says:
"More than 750 gays, punks and "emo" youths have been killed over the past six years by radical Shi'ite militias hunting down "deviants" to torture and execute. There is no justice for these killings, which are justified under sharia law."
Yes, there is no justification for such killings in Non-Islamic frame of reference. But in Islam, are they justified? The report -probably - implies NO. Then it mentions Sharia supports those killings.
But what is that Sharia? Where did it come from? From Koran and Sunna, sayings and traditions of Prophet Mohammad.
More importantly, Muslims equate Sharia with justice. There are many opinion polls which point to what Muslims think i.e. Islam is the solution and they want more religion in policies of Govt..
But Non-Muslims think they know better about Islam and what is good for Muslims than Muslims know about those. Good luck!
