"Muslims and Non Muslims are not equal in Islam", a Saudi Sheikh says.

One of main purposes of many critics of Islam and Islamic law is to make Non Muslims to see the Islamic apartheid towards Non Muslims. When they do this, they are branded as islamaphobes, hate mongers and right wingers. But not one honest refutation of what islamaphobes say about Islam is attempted but the entire energy is directed towards shutting down discussions and analysis. So we have another islamaphobe here from Saudi Arabia, birth place of Islam, whose constitution is Koran and Hadith. Saudi Sheikh, 'Abd-al-Rahman bin Nasir al-Barrak is a senior cleric of Saudi Islamic establishment; he does not belong to fringe groups outside the ring. He says in his fatwa that Muslims and Non Muslims are not equal in Islam (The original fatwa in Arabic). Poor guy, after spending his entire life studying Islamic law, he is still accused of not understanding Koran properly by people who never read Koran! Then, this is insane world.

Understanding Islamic extremism.

In my previous post I wrote that question of ‘is Islam a violent religion?’ is erroneous and misleading. In any system or ideology violence is not the end. Violence and terrorism are just means to achieve ideological goals. Islam is very much a political ideology; Islam is expansionist in both the aspects, as belief and as political ideology. So the right question to be framed for perusal or understanding is ‘Is Islam tolerant towards non muslims?’ or ‘Can Islam co-exist peacefully with others?’ or ‘What does Islam say towards infidels?’

Is Islam really the most violent religion? BJP(?) says no.

When insanity rules over sanity people can not even distinguish between stories and open commands to murder and genocide. In the age of post modernist world, objective thinking is discouraged and demonized. Reason is completely abandoned. As if this is not sufficient, we have political correctness creeping in to journalism and politics; both the professions are tainted by allures of power and money. So rationalism gives the way to irrationalism and we have a word like Islamophobia.
