I did this subject of honor killing, here, and in that post it is shown that Islam sanctions honor killings i.e. if parents kill their off spring for fear that their children are going against Islamic beliefs like by marrying outside their faith or converting to other religion then they can not be punished. What we have here is another case of typical Islamic imperialist and feudal mindset if not honor killing, and the victim here is Afshan Azad who acted in the role of Padma Patil in Harry Potter series. So, Afshan Azad can be considered lucky.
